We have a home with an old roof system ( metal attached to boards that are placed on the rafters about every three foot). Our lowest bid to remove the old roof system and install sheathing and shingles was $8,900. The Subcontractors Network referred a roofer that came in and replaced the sheating and used 30 year Architect shingles.The roof repair and shingles came in at $7,397.00, a savings of $1,503.00 and used a better quality material!!
